Changes to the Jupiter Global Emerging Market (GEM) Equities Team and the management of the Jupiter Global Emerging Markets Fund

Nick Payne has been appointed as lead fund manager on the GEM Equities team, effective 1 April 2022. Under his leadership, Jupiter’s GEM equities capabilities will be consolidated as one strategy, simplifying choice for our clients.

Nick’s appointment follows the decision of Ross Teverson, manager of the Jupiter Global Emerging Markets Fund, to leave Jupiter. Following Ross’s departure, Nick will take over the management of the Jupiter Global Emerging Markets Fund and will bring the portfolio in line with the team’s distinctive ‘Quality Growth’ investment style, offering investors a new opportunity to access to a concentrated, high-conviction portfolio of outstanding emerging market companies with strong moats and competitive advantages.

An experienced and talented emerging markets fund manager, Nick has worked alongside Ross and the team since 2020, following Jupiter’s acquisition and integration of Merian Global Investors and its investment teams.
